It would be very helpful if you would tell us the start times of each performer in the all-day video files.

I'm so impressed with your reviews. Your knowledge of the music and performers is excellent. You find positive points in each performance. And, you post these reviews so quickly. Good job!

Thanks Elizabeth! We're extra proud of Gregory's work on the Cliburn.

I think you are doing such a great job of reviewing these performances. You really provide the feeling of being there in person, and enhance the experience of hearing the webcast. Looking forward to the Semis!

I hope the judges are not reading these critics.

Your links for the evening performances on June 3 are actually to the Sunday afternoon performances by the same pianists. Dying to hear what you thought of last night, so please fix.

Mark Lowry, Editor, TheaterJones.com writes:

Sue, actually, we put both reviews on each file, so if you scroll down a bit, you'll see the second review. I will make that clear in the top of this file.

Will miss Alessandro Deljavan and many others. Thank you for great reviews!

Certainly the first night of the orchestral Finals was a disappointment. Beethoven 3rd, Prokofiev 2nd and Rachmaninoff 3rd and NOTHING touched my heart or excited my brain. What is happening?

Teacher from East Pachogue writes:

I will also miss Alessandro, but perhaps he will come back for a recital or chamber music in the near future. What a compelling performer he is!

Thank you for all your coverage of the competition. The reviews were thoughtful and considered enough I enjoyed them even when I disagreed with them, and the behind-the-scenes "impromptus" were fascinating!
