CMSFW Goes Virtual

For the first half of its 2020-2021 season, the Chamber Music Society of Fort Worth will have virtual concerts. With video interview.

published Friday, August 28, 2020

Fort Worth — The Chamber Music Society of Fort Worth, which had already announced its 2020-21 season, has moved the three shows in 2020 to virtual concerts.

These concerts which are being recorded in the group's home — the beautiful auditorium of the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth — can be accessed on YouTube Premiere. In addition to the concerts, the Pre-Concert Conversations will be back with your favorites, Laurie Shulman and Gary Levinson. (See a conversation betweent them about the season in the video above.)

The concerts are programmed to begin at 2 p.m. with the Pre-Concert Conversation beginning at 1:30 p.m. Because the concerts are prerecorded, a new feature will allow you to chat with the artists or express a thought about the music and/or the artists during and after the concert. The Chat Box is located on the right-hand side of the screen. We would love to have your comments and answer your questions about the concert.

Learn more about the season and purchase tickets at the CMSFW website.
