Dallas — As Shakespeare Dallas wraps up its 2017 with Titus Andronicus, playing through this weekend at Samuell-Grand Park and then two weeks at Addison Circle Park, the organization has announced its 2018 season.
Unlike recent SD seasons that have had one non-Shakespeare play in the mix, such as Quixote in 2017 and She Stoops to Conquer in 2016, 2018 is all about the Bard's hits. In the summer there are two comedies: The Comedy of Errors and The Taming of the Shrew. Those shows will run in repertory in June and July at Samuell-Grand Park. The fall production in September will be Othello, performed at Samuell-Grand and Addison Circle Park.
Raphael Parry will direct The Comedy of Errors. Directors for the other productions have not been announced yet.
