The 41st season for Theatre Arlington has been announced. It will be the first season under the leadership of the group's new executive director, Norman Ussery, who's soon arriving in town from North Carolina, where he has led Twin City Stage in Winston-Salem. He follows the outgoing Todd Hart.
The nine-show 2013-'14 roster is dubbed "a season of confessions," and follows the theater's format, with musicals, dramas and youth producitons, with a couple of nice surprises, including the irreverent musical about a Christian boy band, Altar Boyz, and John Patrick Shanley's Tony Award-winning Doubt.
“The 41st season lineup is rich in possibilities, and promises to be one that draws both critical and audience acclaim,” said Ussery in the news release. “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to come on board at such a moment.”
