Dallas — Ticket giveaways are coming back to TheaterJones! Soon, you'll be able to get them weekly in our forthcoming email newsletter. But to whet your appetite, we're kicking off the new era of giveaways with tickets to the Dallas Symphony's Remix series, happening Friday and Saturday night, Sept. 21 and 22, at Moody Performance Hall. This is the DSO's more casual, shorter concerts with no intermission and meet-and-greet with the musicians after the performance.
The shows are at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. We have one pair for each night.
DSO Assistant Conductor Ruth Reinhardt conducts the program, which features Ravel's Le Tombeau de Couperin, Bacewicz's Concerto for String Orchestra, and Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 4, "Italian."
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. each night; the concert is 7:30-8:30, and a chat with friends and DSO musicians follows.
Additionally, the evening will include photo opportunities with Alfa Romeo luxury vehicles - a Quadrifoglio Giulia and Stelvio, provided by Alfa Romeo of Dallas. Along with the chance to win one of the vehicles for the weekend.
On Saturday, at the post-concert, celebrate the Grand Opening of The Artisan, the Dallas Arts District's newest casual experience with chef-inspired food and handcrafted cocktails. Show your ReMix ticket stub for 10 percent off drinks and enjoy live entertainment. The Artisan is located right across from the Meyerson Symphony Center on the Terrace Level of KPMG Plaza.
