Fort Worth — A celebration for Rose Peason will be held on Monday, Oct. 10 in downtown Fort Worth. Pearson, who co-founded Fort Worth's Circle Theatre with her husband Bill Newberry, died on Aug. 19 after a long battle with cancer.
The celebration will be at the Red Oak Ballroom, 304 Houston Street in Sundance Square. The reception begins at 6 p.m., with the remembrance beginning at 6:45 p.m. and the celebration 7:15 to 9 p.m.
The video above is an interview with Rose and Bill, shot a few months before her death, in the lobby of Circle Theatre, as part of the Legacy Project done by the Live Theatre League of Tarrant County. The interview is LTL president Lisa Dalton.
