Addison — Terry Martin is stepping down as Producing Artistic Director of WaterTower Theatre in Addison, which he has held for 17 years. He has accepted a position as Head of Fine Arts with the Greenhill School in Addison, a post he'll begin on July 1, 2016. The board of directors is working on a plan for a national search for a replacement.
Under Martin's leadership, WaterTower has grown into one of the largest budget professional theaters in North Texas (after Dallas Theater Center, Dallas Children's Theater and Theatre Three). The theater produces a six-show season plus the Out of the Loop Fringe Festival, which Martin initiated.
