Dallas — In the latest episode of Gregorian Rants, TheaterJones chief music and opera critic Gregory Sullivan Isaacs chats with Jonathan Eaton and Robert Frankenberry, of the University of North Texas College of Music, who have complied a new revue of Rodgers and Hammerstein songs with permission from the R&H Foundation. The songs include a few big hits, but also lesser known gems from musicals like Pipe Dream and Allegro. The goal is to have the show licensed for future performances by other theaters.
This revue, called IF I Loved You..., is performed April 4-7 at the Murchison Performing Arts Center on the University of North Texas Campus in Denton.
