Every week in Places!, TheaterJones rounds up the weekend and coming week for theater, music, opera, dance and comedy performances that are opening/happening on North Texas stages.

This week: Mark Morris Dance Group comes to Dallas; a critic has his new composition performed; and White People invade the Bath House.

1. TITAS presents one of the great contemporary dance troupes, Mark Morris Dance Group, at the AT&T Performing Arts Center Winspear Opera House, May 10

2. Dallas Symphony's Beethoven Festival continues with Yefim Bronfman playing Beethoven's "Emperor" Concerto, and the DSO on his Seventh Symphony, May 8-11 at the Meyerson Symphony Center

3. The cantata Undelivered, based on the speech John F. Kennedy was supposed to give before he was assassinated in Dallas, and with a score by TheaterJones chief classical music and opera critic Gregory Sullivan Isaacs, has its world premiere by the Hall Ensemble at the DeSoto Corner Theatre at 7 p.m. Sunday, May 11. The performance repeats Tuesday, May 13 in Fort Worth and Wednesday, May 14, in Weatherford.

4. Churchmouse Productions does J.R. Rogers' White People, overlapping monologues by three people who may have racist attitudes, May 8-25 at the Bath House Cultural Center
