Winter follows autumn. Laundry leads to folding. Dessert comes after the meal... unless you cheat. So much of what we experience is determined, shaped and informed by what has gone before. Sometimes, what happens next is expected; sometimes, not. This summer's edition of SceneShop, titled "after," will offer stories of fallout, consequence and result. Featuring new works by Rob Bosquez, Joshua Eguia, Natalie Gaupp, Kyle Irion and Steven Alan McGaw, the show will cover a lot of dramatic territory, from comic to thoughtful to rewardingly silly. The acting ensemble- featuring several performers making their SceneShop debuts - includes Gage Anderson, Peggy Bott-Kirby, Natalie Bracken, Ben Bui, Steven Cashion, Debbie Dacus, Darcy Doyle, Kevin Duran, Tracie Foster, Gary Payne, Justin Rhoads, Forrest Swanson, Susan van Belkum and Vinnie Witherspoon. As always, performances of SceneShop will feature live music before the show and at intermission. Opening Night will feature the talents of singer/songwriter Chris Hardee, of the band ALAN. The second weekend's shows will offer audiences the eclectic music of WillieNatra, ably headed by Bob Francis.
