This new, interactive musical takes the classic story The Boy Who Cried Wolf, and puts a modern twist on it! The Boy Who Cried Giant is about Harrison, a hard of hearing young man who we follow through out the musical. The show starts on his first day of school, and he's quite nervous. To battle his insecurities, he creates an imaginary friend, simply named Giant, who helps him become confident in his abilities. It's fully ASL accessible, with the help of TCC students Miranda Cannon and Brittany Lawson interpreting every show! This musical is also the first fully original musical to be performed at Billy's Globe House Theatre!
Billy's Globe House Theater, founded by Katreeva Phillips, is a program that focuses on educating the young and old with their own renditions of classic stories, novels, and literature you would find being taught in all levels of education. All shows are written by local playwrights, with productions such as If You Give A Shrew A Cookie (a twisted version of The Taming of the Shrew), the classic Cinderella and the Glass Flipper, Little Red Riding Boots, and many more! Not only do we educate and entertain at Billy's, but we are a fully interactive program, incorporating trained improvisational casts who make every production a new experience!:
