Regina Taylor's TRINITY RIVER PLAYS spans 18 years in the life of Iris and her Oak Cliff matriarchal family. Set in the 1970's - 1990's, the piece is an interlocking of three emotional one act plays -- "Jar Fly", "Rain", and "Ghost(story)." The play is a searing family drama colored by the nuisances unique to the Dallas region. Regina Taylor, a Dallas native, is an accomplished playwright and actress, best known for her Emmy-nominated role in the 1990's television series "I'll Fly Away."
