Joshua L. Peugh’s Dark Circles Contemporary Dance’s debut performance at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival's legendary Inside/Out stage was pure magic, receiving a standing ovation from anaudience of over 700 dance enthusiasts. The company’s anticipated return to themetroplex isloaded with audience favorites and world premieres. Led by Peugh (one of Dance Magazine’s 2015 “25 to Watch"), DCCD features innovative combinations of classicaltechnique andmodernmovementstyles with a dynamic company of performers.
The company’s season opener will include three works by Peugh: the company’s signature work Slump, the Texas premiere of It’s a Boy!, and the world premiere of Aimless Young Man. Fall Series will take place October 9-11 at Erma Lowe Hall, Studio Theatre, Friday and Saturday at 8:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $12-20.
