Two polar opposite short plays come to fruition on the Margo Jones stage starting August 6th running until August 15th. Bed Frames comes from the mind of Miller Pyke as a heartfelt and witty take on second chances with that one ex you never stopped thinking about. Through trials and tribulation of coupled comfort and familiar antics between two similar beings coming together after years of splitting, we find out in the end maybe “that one” should have just gotten away, and moving on isn’t such a horrible thing. Said and Done is the creation of a Denton undergraduate, Kasey Tackett, the universe as we know is has been destroyed, and all that remains is a single atom containing the remnants of ideas held by humanity. Life, Death, Faith, Science, Nature and Time. Their struggle to find relevance and meaning after the end of humanity, in what seems like an endless cycle of nothingness eventually leads to an ending none of them could have anticipated.
