Dallas – Kitchen Dog Theater (KDT) and the New York-based company, The One-Minute Play Festival (#1MPF) continue their dynamic partnership to present The 2nd Dallas One-Minute Play Festival, to be performed Aug 8, 9 & 10 at Southern Methodist University’s Greer Garson Theatre. Following sold-out performances in 20+ cities, this festival aims to celebrate local voices and investigate the local zeitgeist through this exciting process.
“I’m thrilled to be coming back to Dallas!” says Dominic D’Andrea, #1MPF’s Founder and Artistic Director. “We had an amazing experience getting to know KDT and the community last year—it was the highlight of our whole season, and this year we aim to dig a little bit deeper into what’s going on in the community. Dallas has incredible artists, and KDT is a hub for regional and national voices. It’s important that we are doing the festival with them.”
