M. Lance Lusk studied and acted at St. John’s College in Annapolis (the “great books” school), where he was a member of the King William’s Players, The Colonial Players, and Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre (players). Lance earned a graduate degree from the University of Dallas in the Institute of Philosophic Studies where he acted in as many Shakespeare productions as his studies allowed. Some of Lance’s favorite roles are Job in The Book of Job; Hector in Troilus and Cressida, Orsino in Twelfth Night, Leontes in The Winter’s Tale, and most importantly, his continuing rom-com role as a hapless husband, and sitcom dad to two brilliant sons. Lance is currently a doctoral student in the Humanities at the University of Texas at Dallas. He is a great fan of baseball, the Bard, flavorful brews, British motorcycles, and the Oxford comma. Lance has written for TheaterJones and D Magazine, and then TheaterJones again.
