Masked tells the story of a fictional vaudeville & film star known as the first black actor to become a millionaire. Enveloped in Hollywood’s idea of being black, the legendary artist, Jarvis Blake, struggles to find his true identity. Criticized by his own race and marginalized by others, this one night in 1963, hear his story, his way, uncensored and uncut. One person speaks the voices of many in this unique and powerful theatre experience. Come join us for a night of storytelling, songs and laughter that you won’t soon forget!
