Here's the list of awards from the Sixth International Piano Competition for Outstanding Amateurs.

First place: Christopher Shih, a doctor from Ellicott City, Maryland

Second place: Clark Griffith, a retired database programmer from Fort Worth, Texas

Third place: Barry Coutinho, a doctor in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and born in Mumbai, India

 

Other awards:

Best Performance of a Work from the Baroque era: Clark Griffith

Best Performance of a Work from the Classical era: Jun Fujimoto

Best Performance of a Work from the Romantic era: Christopher Shih

Best Performance of a Work from the Post-Romantic era: Barry Coutinho

Most Creative Programming: Clark Griffith

Discretionary Awards: Leslie Myrick and David Hibbard

Press Jury Award: Jane Gibson King

Audience Favorite: Christopher Shih
